Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has issued consent letters to media workers for residential plots in sectors F-14 and F-15, following the approved seniority list, officials said on Monday.

According to the Authority, the consent letters were issued in line with previously announced procedures and eligibility criteria for media workers registered under the scheme.

Consent letters issued across all plot categories

FGEHA confirmed that consent letters were issued to eligible media workers in all three plot categories — 50×90, 40×80, and 35×70 — in both sectors F-14 and F-15. The allotments were made strictly according to seniority, without distinction among applicants.

Officials said the process was carried out as part of the Authority’s ongoing housing allocation activities for registered beneficiaries.

FGEHA cites merit and transparency

Speaking on the occasion, the Director General of FGEHA said that media workers were included under the housing scheme in accordance with applicable rules and policies. He stated that the Authority follows principles of merit, transparency, and timely decision-making in the allotment of residential plots.

The Director General added that FGEHA would continue processing housing matters for media workers and other eligible groups under existing regulations.

Response from media workers

Media workers who received consent letters acknowledged the issuance process and said they expected the remaining stages of allotment to proceed according to the announced framework and timelines.

FGEHA officials said further updates regarding subsequent steps would be communicated through official channels.
