In a gesture of goodwill and solidarity, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, leader of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI), hosted a dinner at his residence in Islamabad in honor of Dr. Salah bin Muhammad, Imam of Masjid Nabawi (PBUH).
The event was attended by dignitaries including Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed al-Maliki and a delegation accompanying the Imam.
During dinner Dr. Salah bin Muhammad expressed his deep appreciation for Pakistan and described it as a country dear to him. The evening began with the Maghrib prayer offered at the house of Maulana Fazlur Rehman who graced the congregation.
Notable attendees included Senate Speaker Yusuf Raza Gilani and National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq who also attended the event. The dinner served as a platform to strengthen the strong ties and mutual respect between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, celebrating the shared values and spirit of cooperation between the two countries.
