In an unexpected turn of events, a fire broke out at the family home of celebrity couple Kanwar Arsalan and Fatima Effendi on Tuesday morning.
Arsalan personally revealed the tragic incident and shared the gruesome information on Instagram.
“Our house caught fire early this morning,” Arsalan captioned an Instagram story that included alarming images of their smoky kitchen. Thank God everyone is safe! Please keep that in mind when you pray.”
Effendi and Arsalan dedicated an episode of their vlog to recounting the events leading up to the disaster and went into more detail about the terrifying situation.
“I believe the fire was started by the fries that were cooking on the stove,” Arsalan said solemnly in the video over the noise of ongoing repairs.

“Thank God no one was hurt and we were spared more loss. We’re getting a ton of calls and texts. We’re safe, thank you so much,” the actor said, expressing his debt to the show. care.
Arsalan explained the initial confusion of the event, describing how the family acted quickly to protect themselves and their possessions, leaving them little time to consider what had happened or what had caused it.
“We were all awake in our rooms after the Fajr prayer…suddenly we heard Ahmad’s scream and a loud glass shattering,” the Betiyaan actor recalled.
