“Fair Skin” Led to Neil Nitin Mukesh’s Arrest

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh revealed an interesting incident when his fair complexion got him into trouble.

The famous singer Mukesh’s son, Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh, shared a surprising incident that took place at New York’s airport. Known for his charming personality and handsomeness, Neil was detained simply because he looked “too fair,” and immigration officers couldn’t believe he was Indian.

This incident occurred in 2009 during the filming of “New York.” When Neil arrived at New York airport, immigration officers stopped him and asked for proof of his Indian nationality. Neil had an Indian passport, but the officers didn’t believe it.

Neil revealed that he was held for several hours and asked tough questions. He also mentioned that he wasn’t given a chance to explain himself. When he finally suggested they search him on Google, the officers were stunned. They then began asking questions about Neil’s family.
