EPA Faisalabad Restores QRU Vehicles to Strengthen Environmental Field Response

FAISALABAD: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Faisalabad has completed repair, maintenance and technical work on its Quick Response Unit (QRU) vehicles to keep them fully operational for field activities.

The maintenance work was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Director Environment EPA Faisalabad Dr Tahir Abbas Sial.

A specialised technical team from Lahore visited Faisalabad to conduct detailed inspections, necessary repairs and technical adjustments to the vehicles.

Officials said the work was aimed at ensuring that the QRU vehicles remain fully functional and ready for environmental monitoring and rapid field response.

The maintenance and technical restoration work continued until late at night, with the technical team completing all necessary tasks.

The operational readiness of QRU vehicles is important for timely environmental inspections, monitoring and response to environmental violations and other field-related issues.

EPA Faisalabad said its efforts to strengthen environmental monitoring and improve rapid field response would continue.
