Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the UAE, was the chief guest at the Global Women Achiever Awards 2024 by Danube Properties Dubai organized in association with Pardais News on the occasion of International Women’s Day here in Ajman, UAE.
The ambassador emphasized the need to strengthen the role of women in various fields and areas of life. “The world would be a more peaceful and better place to live if women had a greater role in the public sphere, including politics, business and culture. Their enhanced role will surely make the world much better than what we have today,” said Mr. Tirmizi.
Congratulating the organizers of the event, the Ambassador said that the recognition of successful women sent a very positive message as not only Pakistani women but also women of other nationalities were represented at the ceremony. “Appreciating women of different nationalities was the most attractive element of today’s event,” emphasized Mr. Tirmizi.
The ambassador praised the diversity and peaceful life of people from around 200 countries of the world and said that this factor alone has made the UAE an exemplary model of peaceful coexistence among the world’s communities. On the occasion, Mr. Tirmizi also extended warm congratulations to successful and award-winning women, including Emirati and expatriate business, social and community leaders.
