Elon Musk’s telepathy medical device company, Neuralink, has confirmed that Canada’s Ministry of Health has granted permission to test their device on six disabled individuals in the country.
According to foreign news agencies, Neuralink has partnered with a Canadian university, where neurosurgeons wish to test the device on disabled people there.
Neuralink had contacted Canadian authorities and the university a year ago, and now the Canadian government has given permission for the device to be tested on six disabled individuals.
It is unclear how long the device will be tested on disabled Canadians, but the device has already been implanted in the brains of two disabled individuals in the United States.
