ISLAMABAD, November 5, 2026: Another public infrastructure project has been completed in Islamabad in a record time of just 27 days, with the Kashmir Chowk Underpass scheduled to open to traffic on Thursday.
According to details shared by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on his social media account, the project has been completed within the announced timeframe, marking another addition to the capital’s road infrastructure.
As part of efforts to improve the area’s environment and enhance its green cover, around 6,000 new trees and plants have also been planted in the surroundings of the underpass.
Naqvi said the plantation initiative was intended to make the area greener and improve its overall environment alongside the development of the infrastructure project.
