The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday declared a petition seeking disqualification of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur admissible. Sources privy to the development said the election watchdog issued a notice to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur after receiving the disqualification petition.
The notice directed the KP CM to appear before the commission for a hearing on March 26. The matter stems from the ongoing controversy surrounding 735 kanals of land, with the District Election Commission in DI Khan ordered to submit a detailed report on the matter before the above date.
