Islamabad — The Diplomatic Ryder Cup Islamabad 2026 was held at the Eighteen Golf Course, bringing together diplomatic missions from the United States and Europe for an 18-hole competition focused on sportsmanship, friendship, and international engagement.
The event was hosted by The Club at Eighteen in collaboration with Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad, and drew participation from diplomats, heads of mission, and members of the international community.

Among the distinguished participants were Ms. Natalie Baker, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States; H.E. Mr. Maciej Pisarski, Ambassador of Poland; and H.E. Mr. Idesbald van der Gracht, Ambassador of Belgium, alongside other diplomatic representatives.
The competition remained closely contested throughout the day, with both teams displaying strong performances. Team Europe secured the Diplomatic Ryder Cup after finishing with a narrow three-point lead.
Individual challenges added to the event’s appeal. Brendan Kallander won the longest drive title in the men’s category, Michaela Chrtova claimed the longest drive award in the women’s category, while Gilles Hachez secured the closest-to-the-pin title in the men’s competition.
The event concluded with a brunch, offering participants an opportunity to engage informally and strengthen diplomatic ties. Guests praised the quality of the facilities and the organisation of the tournament, describing the Diplomatic Ryder Cup Islamabad 2026 as a successful blend of sport and diplomacy.
