Madiha Imam, the famous actress of the Pakistani showbiz industry, once again clarified the religion of her Indian husband.
Recently, Madiha Imam shared a video on her official Instagram account to mark her first wedding anniversary with her husband. Showbiz personalities commented on the post expressing their best wishes for the couple.
However, many users left hateful comments claiming that Madiha Imam’s husband is not a Muslim. Some users call him Christian and some call him Hindu.
Users also asked why Madiha Imam married an Indian and not a Pakistani.
A user asked Madiha Imam: “You belong to the Syed family, can a Syed woman marry an Indian?”
Answering this question, Madiha Imam said, “I have told you several times that my husband is not Indian.”
Madiha Imam explained that there was a Nikkah (Islamic marriage ceremony) so she asked people not to post such negative comments and keep calm.
The actress urged users to stop criticizing anyone based on their religion, color or gender. It is known that Madiha Imam surprised everyone when she got married in Dubai in 2023. She is from India and part of the showbiz industry.
Mojis Basar, an Indian film director and producer, worked as a producer on 2017 Bollywood films like ‘Sakit’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’ after graduation.
Most notably, Madiha Imam showed her acting skills in the 2017 Bollywood film ‘Dear Maya’ starring opposite Manisha Koirala who played her mother.
