The row between the district administration and the bakers’ union continued on the price of bread in Lahore, as the Nanbai Union rejected the new price while action was taken against the rules.
According to Lahore district administration, 3496 points were checked in 24 hours, 79 cases were registered and 592 fines were imposed. Meanwhile, more than 100 people were arrested for selling non-bread at more than $16 per loaf.
