Peshawar Zalmi coach Darren Sammy on Sunday credited his players for sealing the play-offs for the ninth time in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Sammy said, “Credit goes to the players for showing such temperament.”
He stressed the importance of rallying behind fringe players. “From day one, we expressed confidence in the youth.”
Sammy made it clear that he has a “unique” love for Zalma when he said, “I put my best effort into coaching.”

Acknowledging the importance of Babar Azam in Zalmi, Sammy said, “Babar Azam has brought experience to the team. Babar Azam is a superstar who is still learning.”
Expressing his desire to witness the PSL matches in Peshawar, Sammy said, “We are waiting to see the matches in Peshawar. The day will come when we will play cricket in Peshawar and see the welcome from the fans.”
