A married couple in China, already parents to nine children, is hoping for three more to ensure that each of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs is represented. Earning $5.5 million, the couple believes that “having more children brings blessings.”
According to the South China Morning Post, 33-year-old Tan Dongxia from Shunde met her husband Zhao Wenlong in 2008, and they married two years later. Zhao is the founder and CEO of a power supply company, while Tan is the general manager of the company.
Their first child, a daughter, was born in 2010, the Year of the Tiger. Since then, they have had eight more children, including two sets of twin boys. Their youngest son was born in November 2022.
The couple’s five sons and four daughters represent seven of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, leaving five signs unrepresented: Ox, Rabbit, Snake, Horse, and Sheep. Tan, who is preparing for their tenth child, expressed that she wants each zodiac sign to have one child.
