The initiative seeks to connect climate discussions with practical action by encouraging collaboration among government institutions, educational establishments and other stakeholders. Such engagement can help promote environmental responsibility and build a stronger understanding of climate risks and sustainable development.

For Punjab, climate action involves addressing interconnected challenges, including environmental degradation, resource management and the need to strengthen resilience against climate-related hazards. Platforms that bring together policymakers, researchers and students can help generate ideas and encourage wider participation in environmental initiatives.

The COP in My City event emphasized the importance of dialogue, innovation and collective responsibility in translating climate commitments into meaningful action. Its focus on scientific projects and public participation also underscored the value of involving younger generations in shaping a more sustainable and climate-resilient future.
