After refusing to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy, India has now planned to take the event’s hosting rights from Pakistan.
According to media reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which had previously cited security concerns for not coming to Pakistan, is now planning to offer itself as the host if the International Cricket Council (ICC) fails to reach a decision.
The reports also mention that the BCCI plans to compensate ICC broadcasters if there are no matches between India and Pakistan, and negotiations with the ICC are currently underway.
