Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee pays farewell visit to Air Headquarters

ISLAMABAD: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad as part of his farewell engagements. He was received by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, and was presented a guard of honour on arrival.

Defence cooperation discussed during meeting

During the meeting, the General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and the Air Chief discussed matters related to defence cooperation and coordination among the armed forces.

The Air Chief highlighted the importance of tri-services collaboration, while the General Mirza acknowledged the Pakistan Air Force’s ongoing modernisation efforts and operational readiness.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee notes PAF role in counter-terrorism support

General Sahir Shamshad Mirza expressed confidence in continued inter-services cooperation and recognised the Pakistan Air Force’s support to counter-terrorism efforts. The visit concluded with the General’s extending best wishes to the service and its leadership.
