Celebrating the opening of the Noon & Co

Lahore: Noon & Co., a name synonymous with the preservation and revival of stonemasonry in Pakistan, celebrated the opening of its store in Lahore. This opening follows the opening of their Islamabad Flagship studio opening in summer 2022.
Led by its founder Taimur Noon, Noon & Co is an artisan guild working to preserve and revive the ancient Gandhara art of stonework in South Asia and has become a household name for its diverse stoneware products, including sinks, bathtubs, lighting, furniture, ornaments and accessories.
“A heritage that is often forgotten, it was the people of the Indian subcontinent who mastered the craft of stone. This style, which was developed in the Gandhara region of what is now mostly northwest Pakistan, came to be known as Gandhara Art. Today, these stone masterpieces can be found in museums in Europe, America and Asia. Nevertheless, this 2,000-year-old artistic tradition was threatened with extinction. At Noon & Co. we work primarily with these generational gandhar stoners. While remaining true to the core cultural heritage of the Indo-Greek artistic traditions of the region, we are rediscovering the declining art of expert craftsmanship in luxury earthenware. – said Taimur noon.

Located at 134 – DD, CCA Phase 4, DHA, Noon & Co. strives to increase the availability and visibility of its select stone crafts to patrons across the city of Lahore and beyond. Lahore flasghsip store was curated by interior designer Ayesha Noon.
In fact, every piece from Noon & Co. it embodies its own history and story, and almost every piece is made as a one-off, with no two pieces alike.
