CEC Raja leaves for Moscow as foreign observer for Russia’s presidential elections

ECP Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has gone on an official visit to Russia at the invitation of the Moscow government to monitor the 2024 Russian presidential election.

Presidential elections in Russia will continue from March 15 to 17. Sikandar Sultan Raja will monitor the presidential election along with other observers. The Chief Electoral Commissioner was invited by the Government of Russia as an observer.

Current President Vladimir Putin is widely expected to secure another six-year term in the election, despite domestic unrest caused by Russia’s campaign in Ukraine.
