CBD Punjab CEO reviews development progress at NSIT City project

Lahore, Saturday, February 14, 2026: Chief Executive Officer of Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), Imran Amin, visited CBD NSIT City to review the pace and quality of construction work at what officials describe as Pakistan’s first and largest IT city project.

During the site inspection, the CEO assessed progress across key development components and reviewed quality standards being maintained at the project site. A major focus of the visit was the evaluation of finishing materials for the public realm, including tiles, granite, planters, streetlights and pathway lighting.

Officials said the inspection aimed to ensure that materials meet specified quality benchmarks and align with approved development standards.

The visit was attended by Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Architecture & Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Engineering Omar Hayat, Project Manager NSIT City Yasir Saifullah, as well as representatives from NESPAK and project contractors.

While reviewing the ongoing work, Imran Amin directed teams to maintain construction timelines and ensure compliance with quality requirements. He emphasized adherence to project standards during all phases of development.

CBD NSIT City is being developed as a technology-focused urban project aimed at strengthening Punjab’s IT and innovation infrastructure.
