The caretaker government has contacted the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Senior central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shafqat Mehmood was met by caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi at his residence.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on matters of mutual interest, including conducting fair and transparent elections, arranging equal opportunities for political parties to participate in elections and broad national reconciliation.
Both also discussed the possibilities, importance and necessity of promoting harmony and understanding at the national level.
Senior central leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf Shafqat Mehmood said that provision of equal environment and equal opportunities to all parties to participate in elections is essential for transparent elections, Tehreek-e-Insaf is undoubtedly not getting opportunities for political activities on an equal level.

Shafqat Mahmood said that Tehreek-e-Insaf is not even allowed to conduct election campaigns in the light of the constitution and law, while other parties have the freedom to hold rallies and processions across the country. Will miss out on acceptance.
