Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has spoken about her stance on standing up for her ex-husband, Iqbal Ansari, against criticism.
Accompanied by her daughter, Bushra recently appeared on a private TV channel’s morning show where she spoke about a number of topics, including her personal life, career and relationship with her ex-husband.
Bushra Ansari has stated that she will not tolerate anyone criticizing Iqbal Ansari and will take swift action if anyone tries. She revealed that she often hears unfair remarks about her ex-husband, characterizing him as a strict or uncaring husband, and attributes their broken marriage to these misconceptions.
“I believe it is my moral responsibility to stop people from saying anything against Iqbal Ansari,” Bushra said.
She went on to emphasize that her daughters’ father, Iqbal Ansari, has always been a kind and devoted father who has supported them through good times and bad. She emphasized that even though their relationship was difficult at times, he never abandoned his girls.
Bushra also spoke about people’s tendency to pass judgment and post comments on social media, stressing that these kinds of comments are inappropriate and unnecessary. The actress emphasized that any disagreements she had with Iqbal were private and that no one had the right to criticize him.
