Karachi: Senior Pakistani showbiz industry actress Bushra Ansari revealed that she decided to marry playwright Iqbal Hussain at her niece Zara Noor Abbas’s wedding.
Recently, Bushra Ansari appeared as a guest on a private TV channel’s morning show with her sister, actress Asma Abbas, where she openly talked about her second marriage.
Bushra Ansari said that it took her about a year and a half to decide on her second marriage. When her elder brother and close friends met Iqbal Hussain, they advised her to get married soon.
The senior actress said that at that time, her mother was also alive and was very impressed with Iqbal Hussain’s personality. Her mother also wanted her to marry him.
She added that during this time, the wedding celebrations of her sister Asma Abbas’s daughter, Zara Noor Abbas, had begun. All the family members were gathered, and once again, the topic of her second marriage came up. It was then that she decided to marry Iqbal Hussain at Zara Noor’s wedding.
Bushra Ansari said that immediately after making the decision, she married Iqbal Hussain. She had no intention of getting married again at the age of 60, but everything happened according to Allah’s will.
The senior actress mentioned that she remained single for ten years after the failure of her first marriage. During this long period, she never felt lonely but lived a life of freedom and happiness, with all the comforts of life.
She further said that Iqbal Hussain had also lived alone for about eight years. When she came into his life, he was alone, having separated from his former wife. She clarified that she did not break up any home or separate anyone’s children.
Bushra Ansari added that Iqbal Hussain’s former wife, Farah Saadia, is a very intelligent woman and has been living separately with her children for quite some time.
It is worth noting that Bushra Ansari confirmed her second marriage to playwright Iqbal Hussain in April this year.
