Mumbai: Famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has received a death threat.
According to Indian media reports, after receiving a threatening phone call, Mumbai police have registered a case. The threatening call was made to Shah Rukh Khan’s production house in Mumbai, where the caller threatened to kill him.
The media report reveals that the phone call came from a number registered under the name Faizan, located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Shah Rukh Khan’s team filed a complaint with the Bandra police station in Mumbai regarding the matter.
According to the police, Faizan, a young man from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, allegedly also demanded a ransom of 5 million rupees.
The call was made on November 5 at 1:20 PM, and the location was traced through an active phone number. The caller threatened to harm Khan if the ransom was not paid.
It is worth noting that last October, after the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s films Pathaan and Jawan, he also received a death threat, prompting Mumbai police to increase his security.
Previously, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had also received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
