If you want to witness six planets of our solar system together, it’s best to look up at the sky in the evening.
Yes, currently, the planets can be seen in a row in the sky, and this phenomenon is called a planetary parade.
According to astronomer Dr. Javed Iqbal, six planets are currently aligned in the same line. He mentioned that on January 22, after sunset, six planets can be observed together in Pakistan.
He further stated that the Institute of Space Science and Technology will be observing the six planets. Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn can be seen with the naked eye, so there is no need for a telescope.
Dr. Iqbal explained that the other two planets, Neptune and Uranus, can be viewed using a telescope.
He added that this celestial display will continue until the second week of February. The best day to observe the planetary parade will be January 25.
Although such planetary alignments are not highly unusual, the opportunity to see multiple planets together doesn’t come every year, making this planetary parade quite special.
If you wish to observe the planets in the sky, the best time will be 45 minutes after sunset. Venus and Saturn will shine in the southwest, Jupiter will be visible in the southeast sky, and Mars will appear in the east.
