Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has maintained his dominance in the ICC ODI rankings.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ranking update on Wednesday, according to which Babar Azam tops the ODI batsmen with 836 rating points, while Indian opener Shibman Gill is second with 818 rating points.
In T20 and ODI, no bowler of Pakistan could make it to the top 10, but Shaheen Afridi is included in the top 10 of the Test rankings.

Pakistan’s opening pair of Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman, who were previously among the top 10 batsmen, are now ranked 10th and 13th respectively.
Fakhar Zaman has dropped out of the top 10 list due to his continued poor form. He has not scored more than 30 runs in any innings in his last eight matches.

South Africa’s opener Quinton de Kock, who scored two centuries in the World Cup, has moved up a notch in the rankings to overtake teammate Rassie van der Dusen. Quentin de Kock is third and Rassie van der Dusen is fourth.
Babar Azam is the only batsman who is in the top five of ODI, T20 and Test cricket. He is fourth in T20 batsmen and fourth in Test format as well.
