Inspired by Babar Azam, Pakistan will draw the T20I series 2-2 today (Saturday) after a strong performance against “burnout” New Zealand.
After winning the 2nd T20I at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, the hosts lost the 3rd and 4th T20Is under New Zealand captain Michael Braswell.
Cricket experts have expressed their concern over the team’s performance as opener Saim Ayub and white-ball captain Babar Azam have so far not given their best in the series.
Meanwhile, Usman Khan, who lost his UAE contract to represent the country of his birth, scored 28 runs in three innings (from four T20Is) at an average of 9.33.
In addition to batting, the team also excels in the bowling and fielding departments.
