MARDAN: A delegation of Post Graduate College Mardan visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, the delegation was led by MPA Mardan Abdul Salam Afridi,Post Graduate College Principal Muhammad Abrar, Dr. Jamal, Ihsanullah were present on behalf of the college, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah, Registrar Hasan Khan and PS to VC Murad Ali were present on this occasion. Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah assured the delegation that part of the main campus building will be returned in a phased wise soon after approval from the university bodies. In this regard, a two-member committee consisting of Dr. Jamal Shah Ehsanullah from Mardan College and Salim Shah and Umair from Abdul Wali Khan University was formed which will decide which building the university can hand over to Mardan College as soon as possible. He expressed hope that in the next three years, the academic block and hostel under construction of Abdul Wali Khan University will be completed and the problem of classes in the university will be solved. MPA Abdul Salam Afridi said on this occasion that both institutions belong to our Mardan and decisions should be taken under a positive mindset. He appreciated the steps taken by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah to immediately resolve the shortage of BS classes in Mardan College. Mardan College Principal Muhammad Abrar thanked Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah and appreciated his efforts and said that Prof. Zahir Shah conducted the negotiations with positive thinking, part of the main campus building will soon be handed over to Mardan College, which will help in bridging the shortage of space for BS classes in Mardan College.
