Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Pak India Fans event at the MCG, Cricket Australia CEO Nick Howley said CA would like to play its part in India Pakistan cricket.
“We value our relations with all member states. We are thrilled to host Pakistan again,” said Nick Hockley.
“We are also excited to host India,” he said. .
Howley said, “If there is anything we can do to help India-Pak cricket. I think it’s a case of reciprocal series in many ways. Making the interactive series possible is the work of others, but if we can help in any way, we’re happy to do so.”
“If the opportunity arises, we will feel comfortable hosting the India-Pakistan series,” said Nick Hockley.
“Everyone is looking forward to the Pakistan-India match in New York. We want to see more matches like this. Matches between Pakistan and India are not possible at least in the coming season,” he added.
“The schedule is very busy and complicated. All the people who were here were at the India-Pak match at the MCG,” said Nick Hockley.

Pakistan is set to visit Australia for a white-ball series scheduled for November this year. The tour, which will mark the start of Australia’s white-ball schedule for the summer of 2024-25, will include a total of six games – three ODIs and as many T20Is – played across six venues from November 4-18, 2024.
Pakistan will return to Australia almost 11 months after participating in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, which included three Test matches played in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in December 2023 to January 2024.
The three-match Dettol Men’s ODI series will begin on November 4 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Pakistan and Australia will then play in Adelaide and Perth on November 8 and 10, respectively. Pakistan last played an ODI series on Australian soil in 2016 where the home team prevailed.
