Australia edge Pakistan to reach U19 World Cup final

Australia secured a thrilling 1-wicket victory over Pakistan in the U-19 World Cup semi-final held in Benoni, South Africa.

The win takes Australia into the final, where they will face India on Sunday, February 11.

Chasing a target of 180, Australia achieved victory on the first ball of the 50th over.

Despite Pakistan’s impressive performance in the bowling department, especially with Ali Raza taking 4 wickets and Arafat Minhas contributing two, they were unable to overcome the challenge.

In the second semi-final, India defeated South Africa in a closely fought match to secure a 2-wicket win in a nail-biting encounter.
