Islamabad: ASP Shehar Bano has been appointed as Personal Security Officer (PSO) to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Shehar Bano Naqvi will take over as PSO Mohsin Naqvi, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior. Before that, Shehar Bano, who is in class 17, was posted as AD OFC Islamabad.
Shehar Bano Naqvi was previously Assistant Director of Intelligence. In 2019, he cleared the CSS exam and started his career in public administration.
The notification also said that ASP Shah Rukh Khan has been appointed as the Assistant Chief of Security to the Home Minister.
In February 2024, Shehar Bano Naqvi played a brave role to save a woman from an angry mob in Lahore. He praised these efforts when he met COAS General Asim Munir.
