RAWALPINDI, Jan 8 — Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, visited Lahore Garrison, where he was briefed on operational readiness, training standards, and initiatives aimed at boosting combat efficiency.

During the visit, the Army Chief observed a field training exercise featuring advanced technologies, reflecting the military’s focus on innovation and preparedness for future battlefield challenges. He also inspected sports and recreational facilities provided to troops, noting their importance for fitness, morale, and overall well-being.

The COAS toured the High Care Center at CMH Lahore, praising the medical staff and administration for establishing a modern, fully equipped healthcare facility.

In his remarks to officers, Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance stance against threats to national security. He emphasized the institution’s resolve to meet diverse challenges with professionalism and determination, reaffirming its mission to safeguard sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability.

Earlier, upon arrival at Lahore Garrison, the Army Chief was received by Commander Lahore Corps.
