The International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to send another of its delegations to Pakistan to assess preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in the country in February next year.
According to the details, event managers will be part of the event inspection team, which is likely to visit in September-October. Sources revealed that the ICC has set up a routine of visiting those countries that have to host events of the global cricket governing body.
So far, three different ICC delegations have visited the country to discuss matters related to hosting the final edition of the Champions Trophy.
Grounds and pitches are prepared in accordance with ICC criteria.
The last time it was Pakistan managed to win the edition under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed.
