Android users, be cautious of this WhatsApp issue!

This bug disables the microphone when the app is closed or the screen dims, meaning that if Android users switch to another app or leave the screen untouched for too long during a call, the call might be dropped if the speaker is on. According to a report by Tech Issue Today, affected users have posted about this problem on social media platforms like Reddit and other online forums, mentioning that they’ve been facing it for some time. A post in the OnePlus community highlighted that this issue was reported back in 2019. Users have complained that whenever they switch to another app during a WhatsApp call, their voice is automatically muted. When they return to WhatsApp, the voice is restored. This also happens when the screen locks during a WhatsApp call, and the other party cannot hear the user unless the screen is unlocked and the app is reopened.
