Mumbai: India qualified for the ICC World Cup 2023 final by defeating New Zealand in the semi-finals.
In the first semi-final played at the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, India defeated New Zealand by seventy runs. In response to three hundred and ninety-eight runs, the Kiwis were bowled out for 327 runs in 48.5 overs.
Mohammad Shami became a nightmare for the Kiwis who sent seven players to the pavilion. Daryl Mitchell’s 137 runs also went in vain. Indian batsmen Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer scored brilliant centuries. Mohammad Shami was declared Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling.
