Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan currently heads the Ministry of Communications. Federal Communications Secretary Ali Sher Mehsud received the Federal Communications Minister during his visit to the Ministry. Later, Mr. Abdul Sher Mehsood gave a presentation to Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan covering the work of the department and related departments. Besides that, National Highway Chairman Arshad Majid Mohmand, Head of various departments of the Ministry of Transportation attended the briefing session. Addressing the meeting, Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan defined three basic principles that must be strictly followed in implementing the social development plan. Key principles identified include maximizing revenue potential, quality and transparency.
Federal Minister visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad. He summoned the Chinese ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, and said he was deeply saddened by the accident of the Chinese engineers. Abdul Aleem Khan, speaking to the Chinese ambassador, said that Pakistan-China friendship is a symbol of economic stability and peace in the region. He added that nothing can harm the deep friendship and bilateral relations between China and Pakistan. Abdul Aleem Khan said that every Pakistani is saddened and heartbroken by the death of the Chinese engineer. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his condolences to the family of the Chinese engineer who died in the accident. When Abdul Aleem Khan wrote a book about the Chinese Embassy, he gave positive comments to Chinese families who lost their loved ones. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong thanked Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan for his visit to the Embassy and expressed gratitude for his sentiments.
