Lahore: Punjab Police arrested the wanted advertiser in the murder case after 17 years from Italy.
Criminal advertiser Abrar Hussain along with his accomplices killed two civilians in Gujranwala satellite town in 2006 and fled first to South Africa and then to Holland after the incident.
The Punjab Police issued a red notice from Interpol and continued follow-up for the arrest. The accused was finally arrested three months ago in Italy.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the team under the leadership of Inspector Khalid Wariah left for Pakistan from Italy with the advertisement which will reach Pakistan tonight.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the criminal should be punished by completing the legal process soon, while the crackdown should be intensified against the dangerous advertisers involved in murder, robbery and kidnapping. Regular information sharing should be done with FIA, Interpol and other agencies. RPOs, DPOs to self-supervise crackdown on absconding dangerous advertisers abroad.
It should be noted that the total number of advertising criminals arrested from foreign countries this year has reached 129.
