Adventure Foundation Pakistan held its Annual General Meeting in Islamabad on December 9, during which members elected a new Council for the upcoming term.
The meeting took place at the Adventure Complex and was chaired by the outgoing president, Ali Hasan Habib.
AGM proceedings and approval of previous minutes
During the session, the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting held on October 26, 2024, were presented to members and approved by the general body.
Performance review and financial statements presented
A performance review covering the period from July 2024 to June 2025 was shared with members. The review outlined activities related to outdoor education, adventure learning, youth engagement, and environmental responsibility.
Audited financial statements for the financial year 2024–25 were also presented and approved. Members discussed the proposed activity plan for 2025–26 and recommended the inclusion of additional winter programmes.
Adventure Foundation Pakistan announces new office bearers
The general body elected a new Council for the forthcoming term. Syed Abu Ahmad Akif was elected President.
The Vice Presidents elected are Col (R) Abbas Hussain Naqvi, Dr. Adnan Latif, and Ms. Jahan Ara Mueen. Brig (R) Ghulam Haider was elected Honorary Secretary (Public Relations).
Council members include Dr. Tasnim Azim, Azal Zahir, Bushra Javed, Rab Nawaz, and Huma Mustafa.
Outgoing president Adventure Foundation Pakistan, Ali Hasan Habib administered the oath of office to the newly elected Council members. The meeting concluded after formal proceedings.
