Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers has joined Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) despite the team’s exit from the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Contacting RCB mainstay X Villiers (previously on Twitter), he wrote: “Losing always hurts. But as a fan, I’m proud that all the boys believe in us even if they have hope. It seemed lost in early May.”
He expressed hope that RCB will bounce back next season and said, “I believe that RCB will come back strong next year and bring home the title.”
