Hubei: Recently, a Chinese national convicted of murder, but apparently deaf and mute for 20 years, was arrested and escaped from police custody.
According to media reports, it happened in 2004 in China’s Hubei Province, where a young man named Zhao got into a fight with his neighbor, and during the fight, he grabbed Fajar’s head and hit the neighbor’s head hard.
After this incident, Zhao quickly realized the consequences of his actions, realizing that he could spend the rest of his life behind bars or face the death penalty. Zhao immediately decided to leave the province. Abandoning his wife and 11-year-old child, he moved to the mountainous area of Anxi County, Fujian Province, where he earns a living by selling metal parts.
