Bishop extends ‘best wishes’ for newly-appointed CSK captain Gaikwad

Former West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop has extended his best wishes to newly appointed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. A renowned commentator on X (formerly Twitter) said, “All the best to Ruturaj Gaikwad on taking charge of Chennai Super Kings.”

Bishop acknowledged Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s brilliance as the Kings captain. “Following the great success of MS Dhoni is a great opportunity and at the same time a significant task for a fan base that demands excellence,” he said.

The World Cup winning captain had earlier handed over the captain’s armband of the CSK team to Ruturaj.
