ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a severe weather warning for the coming days, with projections showing a combination of rain and snowfall in several regions.
The NDMA’s National Common Operational Picture (NCOP) said cloudy conditions will prevail over most regions from March 8 to 10, with isolated rain over central and south Punjab. Additionally, significant snowfall is expected in northern areas of Pakistan, which could lead to brief road closures.
The weather forecast for March 10-12 called for rain and thundershowers in both south and north Balochistan, including Katch, Gwadar and Quetta.
Similar weather conditions are forecast for the western and higher regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Kashmir, while the rest of the country can expect dry weather.
