RAWALPINDI: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has announced the birth of his third child – a girl.
“Mikaeel and Mujaddid now have a baby sister. Allah taala has blessed us with a baby girl,” Shoaib Akhtar announced in an Instagram post.
“I welcome Nooreh Ali Akhtar, born during Jumma prayers, 19th Shaban, 1445 AH,” said the former pacer.
“Aap sab ki duaon ka talab gaar [I request you all to pray for me],” he added.

Akhtar, who holds the record for bowling the fastest ball, married Rubab Khan on 25 June 2014.
The couple has three children. In November 2016, they welcomed their first child, Mohammad Mikaeel Ali, and on 14 July 2019, the former cricketer and his wife welcomed their second son.
