ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s blind cricket team met President Arif Alvi at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad on Monday.
The blind cricket team’s meeting with the country’s president was shared by the Pakistan Blind Cricket Board (PBCC) in a post on social media platform X.
“President Dr. Arif Alvi today called on the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team. He lauded their remarkable achievements on the international stage and highlighted their role in showcasing Pakistan’s talent. He stressed the need to boost the team’s morale and appreciate their efforts.”
The team was praised by the President for “bringing glory to Pakistan” through their exceptional performances and inspiring others with their dedication and skills.
The President felicitated the team members for their contribution to the sport and for representing Pakistan at the international level.
He said that the efforts of blind cricketers should be recognized and appreciated. He praised the players for helping to promote blind cricket in the country.
President Arif Alvi also appreciated the efforts of PBCC for its active role in organizing tournaments and promoting the development of visually impaired cricket in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the team management shared insights about the team’s recent performance and achievements. The President encouraged continued support for the blind cricket team and said the achievements of the blind cricket team should be celebrated. This will also help raise awareness of their achievements.
