Wheat and flour prices are showing fresh fluctuations in the market, with traders and millers reporting varying rates.
Open-market wheat is currently around Rs140–141 per kg, while flour prices differ depending on quality and seller.
Millers say 2.5-number flour is selling to consumers at around Rs175 per kg, while fine flour is reaching Rs185–190 per kg at retail outlets. Chakki flour is reportedly selling for up to Rs190 per kg.
According to industry representatives, a further decline in wheat prices could eventually lead to lower flour prices for consumers.
