LARKANA: Students of ZABIST University Larkana have been recognised for their participation in a plantation campaign carried out at different locations across the city under the university’s Community Service Project (CSP).
The plantation drive was organised with the cooperation of the Green Sindh Foundation, providing students with an opportunity to take practical part in environmental protection and the promotion of greener communities.
Following the successful campaign, the Green Sindh Foundation organised a Green Student Hero Award ceremony at ZABIST University to recognise students who participated in the plantation activities.
Representatives of the Green Sindh Foundation, including Uzair Abbas Jokhio, Momin Hussain, Ahsan Bashir and Agha Nasir, attended the ceremony. Assistant Professor Dr. Jalil Ahmed Thebo, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at ZABIST University, was also present.

Speakers appreciated the cooperation of the Green Sindh Foundation in the plantation campaign and its efforts to promote tree planting and environmental protection in Sindh.
They also praised the environmental work of Green Sindh Foundation founder Zulfiqar Magsi, particularly efforts aimed at promoting a greener Sindh and improving environmental conditions.
The speakers said engaging young people in plantation and environmental activities can help develop long-term environmental awareness and encourage students to become active participants in protecting nature.
The initiative was described as a positive step towards promoting environmental responsibility among youth and building cleaner and greener communities in Sindh.
