4th Agriculture Connections Conference and Expo Opens in Lahore

LAHORE: The 4th Agriculture Connections Conference and Expo 2026 has opened in Lahore, bringing together government representatives, investors, financial institutions, development partners and agribusiness leaders to discuss the future of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.

The two-day conference and expo, facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), is focused on food security and agricultural investment, with discussions covering the modernisation of agriculture, climate resilience, stronger supply chains and export growth.

The event provides a platform for stakeholders from the public and private sectors to explore investment opportunities and discuss ways to improve agricultural productivity and strengthen Pakistan’s food systems.

Climate resilience is also a key area of discussion as the agriculture sector faces growing challenges from changing weather patterns, water stress and other climate-related risks.

The conference is also focusing on stronger agricultural supply chains and greater opportunities for value addition and exports, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of Pakistan’s agriculture sector.

The SIFC has reaffirmed its focus on unlocking Pakistan’s agricultural potential and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening food security and investment in the sector.

The two-day event is expected to facilitate dialogue and partnerships among government institutions, investors, financial organisations, development partners and agribusiness stakeholders for a more modern, resilient and sustainable agriculture sector.
