FFC Launches Tree Plantation Campaign 2026 with Plan to Plant 25,000 Trees

Rawalpindi: FFC has launched its Tree Plantation Campaign 2026, aiming to expand green spaces and encourage communities to take part in environmental protection activities.

Under the campaign, more than 25,000 trees will be planted across schools, educational institutions, public spaces and community areas.

The initiative is aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and supporting healthier and greener communities through increased tree cover.

On the inauguration day, 5,000 plants were distributed to participating communities and institutions, marking the start of the plantation campaign.

FFC said the campaign reflects its continued commitment to environmental sustainability and community wellbeing.

The plantation initiative also seeks to encourage long-term care of trees and greater public participation in creating and maintaining green spaces.

Expanding and maintaining urban and community tree cover can provide shade, support biodiversity, improve local environmental conditions and contribute to more resilient communities.
