New Drinking Water Plant Inaugurated at Chakwal’s Shuhada Park

CHAKWAL: Deputy Commissioner Chakwal Sarah Hayat inaugurated a new drinking water plant at Shuhada Park, providing clean and chilled drinking water to visitors and the local community.

The water facility has been installed through the special efforts of Assistant Commissioner Chakwal Dr Arsalan Sikandar in collaboration with the Elaaf Welfare Organization.

The newly installed plant will provide clean drinking water to families and children visiting the park. A separate water point has also been established facing the main Talagang Road, allowing pedestrians, commuters and other citizens passing through the area to benefit from the facility.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hayat appreciated the initiative and thanked the Elaaf Welfare Organization for supporting the public welfare project.

She said access to safe drinking water is essential for public health and welcomed initiatives that provide basic facilities to citizens in public spaces.

The installation of the water plant is expected to particularly benefit families and children visiting Shuhada Park, while the roadside water point will provide convenient access to clean drinking water for the wider community.
