ISLAMABAD: In line with the vision of the Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) to resolve civic issues at citizens’ doorsteps, Director General (DG) Islamabad Water Sardar Khan Zmari visited I-10/4 to review the progress of measures taken to address water supply issues in the area.
The visit was a follow-up to an earlier inspection conducted last week and focused on assessing the current water supply situation and reviewing the steps taken to improve the system.
During the inspection, the DG Islamabad Water reviewed the water supply network and related issues in detail. A noticeable improvement in water availability was observed in I-10/4, with local residents expressing satisfaction over the improved supply situation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Khan Zmari said continuous monitoring would be carried out to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted water supply to residents.
He reaffirmed that water-related complaints and issues would remain under close supervision at the highest level, adding that any negligence or shortage would be addressed promptly.
The DG directed the concerned staff to remain vigilant and ensure effective service delivery so that residents do not face unnecessary difficulties in accessing water.
